Is Silver Flame Talisman broken?

I have been killed three times by Finger of Death (Church and the Cult-Elite) and once by Destruction while wearing Silver Flame Talisman.
My HP is well over 300, with about 35 more in Temp HP.

Deathblock effect on items is bugged right now since the update. The developers are aware of it, will probably be fixed in a hotfix/patch soon.
