So I wanted to try out Reaper. I had never bothered with it previously, so I went to an old standby dungeon, with a relatively low level toon.
Quest: Recovering the Lost Tome (from the Harbor).
Elite is Level 4, Reaper 1 is also Level 4.
I took a lvl 6 toon (arti 5, ranger 1), with my 5th level dog, and a 6th Cleric hire.
The first half went swimmingly-- you talk to the NPC, he points to the book (meanwhile, disarm the first room trap--behind the pole).
Once you "do" the bookshelf (book), that unlocks the door lever-- "do" the lever, proceed into the first half.
Long hall, splits into two rooms, one small, the other long with lightning traps (high INT check disables). After killing the last trap, a Skele spawns. There was some odd-looking thingy, which I killed. THEN the Skele archer spawns as usual. Killed that too. There was a "Magic Gem" underneath the odd monster? Was that a reaper? (kinda weak, IMO). I hit the gem, got 20sp back. Okay. One spell's worth... glad I wasn't using any magic on it...
Next, back to the main room, through the door you had to lever open-- what the FORK? It is now CLOSED?
It is NOT supposed to auto-close! There is no lever on the dungeon side! What are you supposed to do-- park ANOTHER hire on that side of the door?
I've played this one literally dozens of times, and it is NOT supposed to auto-close....
FAIL. So I enter a Help Ticket-- at 8:15 my time (it reads 9:15 in the ticket, I guess they don't use Daylight Savings Time?) While waiting for a response, I tried the /STUCK command-- nope. It moved me BACK down the dungeon, not to the other side of the door.
Tried to add some comments to the [no]Help ticket-- but it's now locked-down-- no more comments until the GM (an apparently non-extant entity) "comments".
I see the NOHELP/IGNORE system is working as intended... to 100%, too!
