pure vs split tempest.

Basically the main thing is for the capstone in tempest. But ive been thinking is it worth it? I could take the cap and get little in return with the actual levels, or I could give up the cap and go for an 18 1 1 split or 18/2 rog, or 16/3/1 rng pal ftr split.

Basically its more about being a bladeforged and haveing that big middle finger I win button with another feat and some extra prr, more if I went 3 for the added 25 defense.

Any thoughts? Oh and I figured fighter as the third split for the feat and the haste boost which would free up tempest slot to choose sprint and run like I stole something.

lol if it was back before they jipped us, you better believe id have a set of heavy armor on every character ( I still do on most of my mages heh) But no we were screwed so might as well wear light armor and use dodge as a secondary defense with evasion.

The main draw for me is mostly recon. If a ranger got heal as a lv 20 master tier spell id be pure all the way. Its just the addiction of that **** easily amped jacked recon with all that defense and amp in the docent from rescue. Jump in tear into everything with death dance and hop out for a recon then back in.

The other stuff is mostly fluff prr/mrr, run speed. Idk, i'll have to debate it and run the numbers.

Its a shame bards cant be lawful. Id have some fun with a 3 split of that and the ranger.

If you dnt mind sticking to longswords, could take whirling steel strike and do a 12/6/2 rngr/ftr/monk split. wis bonus plus defender bonus to AC, maybe take monk lvls b4 fight lvls and use the feats to go down the adept at forms line. plus this lets you maintain a better than average AC while keeping evasion and throw in some dodge bonuses for good measure. Though you'll need to take oversized TWF if you want to dual wield longswords more efficiently

Actually next life I might go for a bard variant. After comparing the tree's. Maybe a PDK 14 ranger 3 ftr 3 Brd combo with the defense stance mixed with the bards inherent buffs and clicky 30% double. I'll take this thing up to cap and see how it does... or at least until I get sick of leveling it toward cap and destinies. Compare the 2.
