Purple Dragon Knight vendor unlock barter?

I've hit 390 PDK favor, gathered 15 Village of Eveningstar Commendations, and the Spider-Silk Caparison (however the heck you spell it) and went to Mikrom Sum to upgrade with The Way of the Sun Soul. However when I select that option the armor has a red question mark and I'm told I have to unlock that item? (The message isn't clear whether it is the armor or 'Barter: Purple Dragon Kinghts'.

Any suggestions or ideas?

If you just hit 375 or more PDK favor, you might need to log out and log back in again. Sometimes it doesn't automatically update when you finish or turn in a quest or quests.

If I'm reading it right you can pull up the barter dialogue and see the different choices so it's not a favor issue.

The armor has to be unequipped and unlocked in your inventory in order to upgrade it. (Technically it is destroyed and replaced with the new upgraded armor.)

I'm not positive, but the commendation also likely have to be unlocked. If they are in your bag then they are fine, if they are in your inventory make sure they are unlocked as well.

Actually did that. Hit 390 last night and checked again this morning before coming to work. Unless I'm missing a step the upgrade should be working.

Is there some weird feature i have to get the armor after i get the favor? I picked up the armor on my run to get to 375.

Oh ****! I'm an idiot. The armor is in my inventory but it's locked. I don't usually do that and forgot i did.
