Hey guys. A non-easy DDO is just around the corner. Am sure many are excited or at least interested.
I am proposing something resembling the following:
1. A reaper event where we tackle a series of Reaper Quests and/or Raids in a given period to see how far people can get before the next round of powercreep.
2. Some general guidelines about the cheesiness that is bound to take hold of some of this stuff with a death grip.
...some kind of event I'd be interested in organzing...
E.x.,
For the next month the event is Dragons
lvl30 Challenge
1. Haunted Halls // White Dragon
2. Don't Drink the Water // Green Dragon
3. Search and Rescute // Red Dragon
lvl15 Challenge
1. Mired in Kobolds // Black Dragon.
lvl19 Challenge
1. Prey on the Hunter // White Dragon Duo
...the power of cheese...
I am taking a stand that cheese should not be looked down on, but if you use it, you should note it. Some of the stuff is the standard Chedder, Gouda, Provalone
1. Cakes
2. Re-entries
3. Perching spots
Cheese puts you in a different weight class. I'm not saying cheese is bad, just that it should be out in the open. Someone with 100 shadow cookies on their bar is in a different weight class.
...difficulty metrics...
Skull.
Completion time.
Number of deaths.
Party Composition.
Am sure some others have been thinking along the same lines as me with the above proposal. Maybe we need a cheese-metric. I believe I will be formalizing one.
