pale master help

I am aware t hat this is dumb question and t hat I "should" be able to find what I want myself. BUT, since I don't seem to be able to do so I guessd I am missing something. I want the spell/enhancement that lets me turn to negative energy for healing. I "think" that is what it is called. I am mostly arch mage so far but have taken dark reaping so far in PM. I just need to know what to take to g et to what I want if you can tell me what I want is called. sigh. this is not good post but maybe someone can figure it out and help.

Spells for Pale Masters in Undead form:
Lesser Death Aura - continuous healing
Death Aura - continuous healing
Negative Energy Burst - blast of healing

apparently I still don't get it. wiki says death aura is lvl 4 spell but iyt does not show up there or anywhere any level on my spell list. ( have lvl 1-4 spells available}

that means you do not have the spell

Maybe you never learned it when you levelled. Im not sure if it can be bought from a scroll vendor but you could look there. Or next level select it.

hmm. ok thx. I am close to leveling so will see if that is it. is there a post somewnere that might discuss how to actually play the pale master?

I am wondering if you have any of the shrouds active. The cores of the PM tree appear in your enhancements tab when purchased, they are zombie, vampire, wraith, lich. You need to drag/drop those to a hotbar and toggle one. The arcane spells, lesser death aura, death aura, and negative energy burst will 'heal' you if you have one of the shrouds toggled 'on'. Those spells are rare, so you need to find them in chests, buy them on auction house/shard exchange, trade for them, or take them as the 'free' spells during leveling.

yes I have the first shroud form. it is probably the above post reason for death ayra. I will get next lvl soon. I was hoping for a discussion on best way tp play pm using death aura or lesser death aura while not being full pale master. I use the magic missile etc spells for dps.

Get extend for LDA and DA, but not heighten. Quicken for NEB

There are others, that's the only one I remember without looking.

When you get your 2nd level of Rogue make sure you have Insightful Reflexes.

Ignore the numbers and follow the build. You wont hit the same DCs or be able to solo on HE/EE/LE but you will do fine in groups and can solo Hard difficulty stuff.

Something to remember... Web is very powerful.

These are the scrolls you should keep an eye out for as loot drops or on the AH b/c you can't buy them from regular vendors. They're also the spells you should prioritize as your spell picks when you level, since as a wizard you can inscribe any arcane scroll into your spellbook. No need to pick a freebie that you can easily buy & inscribe yourself, is there?

None of those spells are available from Vendors:

If you could do it again, you'd grab the rare ones as you level, and learn the others from scrolls, either found as loot, bought on AH or store-bought.

As it stands, you could still find them on the AH with a little luck. If not, grab what you can as you level.
