    Default support ticket: dishonesty

    Description:
Hello. I thought I had a +1 tome of spell power, so I just traded 7500 remnants for the +2. TO my dismay, I already had the +2 Is there any way I could get the rems back? Or justtrade it for something else? I do not yet have the tome for the inherent magical resistance.

    Response:
    History:
01/12/17 02:48 PM Unfortunately, the In-Game Support team cannot replace, restore or grant in-game content that is mistakenly destroyed, deleted, purchased, sold or traded with a player, NPC, through the auction house or through the mail system. We strongly recommend that all players review and confirm their actions or intent before performing any transactions of this nature.
I know this to be untrue:

    Description:
I meant to trade in mysterious remnants for a +2 tome of melee power. I accidentally traded them for a +2 tome of physical resistance. I already have this tome is there any way I can trade for a +2 tome of +2 melee power?

    Response:
    History:
07/28/16 11:19 PM Greetings, I have taken back your Physical Resistance tome and I have mailed you a Melee Power tome. If you have any additional concerns then please submit a new help request.
I'm not trying to be unreasonable, or rude here. But I would greatly appreciate if there would be some way to get my rems back. That is 7500 rems! took me a long time to get.

Can't you check what tomes you have in your feats list now? I don't know about the sorts of tomes you've been talking about because I don't have any, but I thought they were all 'special feats' now, so that you can check before you buy. Not that this helps you with your current problem, of course, but for next time?

Also, if you aren't trying to be unreasonable or rude, calling them dishonest instead of assuming that somewhere someone has made a mistake - possibly in your favour one time - would have been more reasonable, and less rude.

They are BTA, so you can pass it to another toon that hasn't used one yet.

I guess it all depends on who answers your call.

I messed up an LR +1 a long while back and contacted a GM on the off chance they might help. Not only did the GM sort it out for me by replacing it - they even game me a timer reset so I didnt have to wait.

Some are nicer than others it seems.

this. the first GM quoted followed the company line, which he also spelled out for you there.

the other GM you quoted happend to be kind hearted and didnt mind spending 2mins to help out.

now, while it would be nice if this was always the case, sadly they are not obliged to do so, so there is no dishonesty involved.

as an aside, speaking of remnant trade ins; what they OUGHT to feel obliged to do is to finally get around to fixing the fact that upgrading bracers or cloak deletes both augments slotted. or like, include 2 jeweler's kits granted before upgrade, or you know, at least put in a warning text ...
