Default Add Reaper and Mythic Bonuses to Random Loot

    Cannith Crafting was a hit.

Add a chance to get Reaper and Mythic Bonuses to random loot.

Would increase the general desire to run diverse Reaper quests.

Perhaps BtA, or if not would prove to be a boost to economy (AS or PP sink). Or make BtA.

As stands now, very few quest come to mind where I would plan to run a lot (or more importantly expect others to want to run) --Good Intentions for ring, Slavers for a few item, a few raid items could be hot but peoples desire to run Reaper Raids is not something I'm expecting.

We have the makings of something to entice people to run and just need to close the gap.

    I second this idea.
Random Gen's value is more than marginally behind crafted ATM.
Without new players DDO will go the way of the dodo.

Junk with mythic / reaper bonus will still be junk.

The one-in-a-million good items would only be slightly better.

But so far, after the random loot update I have not found one single item I have kept and used for more than a few days.

I do not see how mythic / reaper bonus would change much.

    Default craftable

maybe adding a reaper crafting ingredient could be a solution to this? being able to add a bonus to whichever piece you like would be great, and mesh well with the "crafted is better" meta we've seen as of late. extremely rare drop rate, of course.

If we are going to have mega power creep, might as well make it fair for all classes.

EDIT: Also, I need something to sell on the Astral Shard exchange.

Agreed, I like this idea, it will make the very very rare awesome random item actually better than cannith crafted which currently is functionally impossible within reasonable probability.

Probably only reaper bonus, not mythic bonus for the random loot?

Obviously the bonus would have to go away if disjuncted.

Unless that helmet has exactly what I have on my crafted helmet then it will be junk.

Using an item with reaper bonus, but otherwise useless will leave you weaker,

What about random bonuses that survive deconstruction?

The item itself might be junk, but if has a "Reaper Stat" that is inherent to the item and is not removed when the junk item is deconstructed it could add a whole new element to the cannith crafting system.

It wouldn't really add a whole new element to the cannith crafting system, it would just mean that you would only ever use an item with the reaper bonus for crafting (although you might have to make a choice between reaper bonus or augment slot). I fully support reaper bonuses on random loot, but they'd have to go away on deconstruction.
