    Question Falconry or Harper Agent for Bard?

    I have a Halfling Swashbuckler Trapper (2nd Life, Past Life Sorcerer, +2 Ability Tomes for all stats, 1st Lvl Rogue/2nd Level Bard). Which tree most complements this combo: Falconry or Harper Agent or a splash of both?

    I want to focus on mostly melee, but with a splash of sonic spellpower and a splash of ranged (Composite Shortbow). I plan to take 2 levels of Rogue, the rest with Bard.

    I am not focused 100% on a single tree, I am looking for a good combo for solo survivability.

    I have played Rogue many times, but this is my first Bard.

    That's a tough one lol. Neither? Just put some point in harper for the trance and go dex based if you want to use a bow and take weapon finesse feat (dex to hit) and swashbuckler tier 3 Different tack swift strikes for dex to damage with your swashbuckling weapons.

    For 18 bard/2 rogue trapper I recommend going Int-based, and put a few points into Harper tree.
    Here is my AP setup:
    Spellsinger 23 (22 for Sustaining song, for solo survivability; 1 ap in Music of the Makers so you song can heal Warforged in parties)
    Swashbuckler: 13 (core 2 (swashbuckling), Fast Movement, Two Steps Ahead (int to damage), Skirmisher (can use SWF with bucklers)
    Harper Agent: 7 (Int to-hit, Know the Angles II)
    Warchanter: 37 (5 cores for full BAB, Frozen Fury, Ballad Melody: Recklessness, Chant of Power, then either Expeditious Chant for party play or Spinning Ice for solo)

    Gear: focus on Int, then Cha, then combat stats (deadly, accuracy, doublestrike, seeker, armor-piercing, deception, stunning for Frozren Fury)
    Weapon: any light 1-handed you like + any buckler with guardbreaking

    Feats: SWF line, Shield Mastery, Improved Shiled Mastery, force of personality, insightful reflexes, improved critical, Inspire Excellence, Overwhelming Critical, Blinding Speed, Precision;
    (my toon is human, yours will have 1 less feat, I suppose you can replace Blinding Speed with 30% speed on item/augment)
    Legendary feat: Scion of Arborea or Scion of Feywild.

    Destiny: Fatesinger (take auto-extend and auto-quicken, since we are feat-starved; Harmonic Chord 1 for attack/damage, Chord 2 for skills, Grim/Bound Fate for bosses, Martial Hymn is great, Chord 5 for DCs, crit on 19-20, epic moment)

    Twists: Haste Boost (LD t3), Legendary Shield Mastery (Sentinel t2), Legendary Tactics (LD t1), Technician (SD t1) if you need more trap skills
