Screenshots of the week are good. They help keep down the over abundance of screens (if you're an accurate shooter).

(But the pics are usually interesting too, and often quite dramatic.)

For the record: As Peng said below me - had everyone been at the starting line, my vote probably would have gone to T, with NohBob's campsite falling in behind at a close 2nd.

Cordovans is cool, but its been done before with a giant kobold.

Nohbobs was peaceful.. too peaceful and got me stumped where it is, but its just a pretty picture.

Steelstars is a reenactment of Marty McFly performing at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance.

I didn't vote for Cordovan's but I will say I did

I went with Steelstar's, its my favorite band of intrepid sidekicks plus a mimic, what more could you want?

I voted for Steelstar's. It seems like I've known those characters for a really long time.

All entries have their merits - I like Steelstar's humor and Nohbob's artistic subject mater. Cordovan's image stands out with its thin vertical lines of white light framing and contrasting the dark subject matter and the whimsy of a "skeletal king kong" swatting at air ships....

...but my vote went to Tolero as the best of the lot. I like the perspective of the shot looking up from below at the angel and how the twin streams of lava from the tower and the curve of the worm pull the eye directly to the mouth as the focal point of the image - bonus points for having to focus of the subject matter be slightly off center. I also like how the positioning of the angel wing looks almost like she is feeding snacks to her pet worm right out of her hand.

And...cause Fallen Angels and Purple Wurms all in Red
