Penetrating Blast lists that you gain 1d6 base eldritch blast damage. Is this a passive that will always be in effect, or only when I have it toggled on?

Blood Component (Core) lists your blast shapes attack 10% faster, will this work with Eldritch Aura from ES?

I'm fairly certain that the +d6 from penetrating blast is passive and doesn't require that enhancement to be toggled on.

Blood Component will not have any effect on Eldritch Aura, That ES line will only increase ticks through points in that core line (Every 5 seconds at 1, 4 at 6, 3 at 12 and 2 at level 18)

It's only when that stance is active (really only useful against helmed horrors and the boss from VoN5). Aura is not considered a blasting shape so it does not cast faster.
