    Agreed. Wretched year. Too many greats passing. I knew it was going to be an awful year for it, when David Bowie and then Alan Rickman passed. Not to mention Gene Wilder. We also lost Harper Lee, Jim Harrison, and Lois Duncan among many other great authors this year.

    while i hated to see a lot of them die, we are actually under the average amount of celeb deaths.

    according to the internet, we lose 73.8 famous people each year and we only lost 69 in 2016.

    now quality, that is a different story!

    I think it's more to do with us starting to lose people we grew up with rather than ones our parents grew up with.

    I'm 40 now and those I grew up watching on TV and Movies or listening to on the Radio are 60+

    It's only going to get worse from here.
