75% off Greater Tome of Heroic Learning?

The greater tome of heroic learning is on sale now for 398 DDO points which is a fantastic sale. However, all my characters already have a lesser tome through buying an expansion.

The store only shows me the lesser to greater tome which is not on sale for 600 DDO points. It would be wonderful if they would also have the lesser to greater upgrade on sale too. I would be spending DDO points like mad.

If you have a character slot open, I think this can be circumvented:

Step 1: Roll new alt.
Step 2: Do NOT apply Lesser Tome on new alt.
Step 3: Buy Greater Tome.
Step 4: Pass it through the Shared Bank.

Repeat ad nauseum or until you've thrown all your money at SSG.

Can anyone confirm that the greater heroic tomes are BTA? I checked the wiki and it showed the heroic tomes as (BTC/BTA) with a screen of a lesser being BTC while also specifically mentioning that the upgrade was BTA. It all makes me wonder

Yes they are BtA. I just bought a Greater Tome of Heroic Learning for 398 TP, and put it into shared bank.

I made sure to make the purchase on a toon to whom I would not mind applying this tome
