    Default Monk elemental strikes

Is there any possibility of making monk elemental strikes be the only thing that affects the count towards the finishers.

It's one of the most annoying and possibly things that make people not want to use them.

Example: Drinking a pot among other things resets the finishers or removed the build up charges on it that are counting towards it.

I would like to be able to drink pots or climb stairs or use a none monk ability while retaining the finisher if I am still centered.

Over my course of playing my latest whirling stick of truth build, I've been learning all the tricks of "finish your healing finisher before opening a door" and "Don't switch weapons halfway through a combo" and all of that stuff to make sure my finishers go off when I want them. And it is annoying, workable, but annoying. Finishers should be more akin to EiN charging, gets destroyed on entering a new zone, resting or on death, but not on trivial things like pulling out a heal scroll.
