Build for Arcane Past Lives

Hi everyone.

I'm an almost exclusive melee player. I like divine casters, but I almost never play arcanes (this "almost" is for bards). Because that, I'm really starved on arcane caster gear, but I need to farm three arcane epic past lifes to have epic completionist.

What build would you recommend to farm arcane karma? I have access to all classes, but not iconic races.

Personally I just took whatever melee build I was using at the time and ran it in fatesinger. If you're just going for the past lives rather than trying to run the highest content on LE you'll be fine.

If you actually want some synergy with the arcane sphere, do some sort of swashbuckler build.
Throw in 2 rogue levels if you wants traps+evasion.
Add 3+ fighter levels if you want to take advantage of defensive/greater defensive stance.

TBH, since it doesn't sound like you actually want to play a caster, I'd probably just run a Swashbuckler in Fatesinger thru however many Arcane EPLs you need. Something like the Count of MC should be fine, particularly if you can get your Enchantment DCs high enough.

If I had to do it again, Electric Critzilla. I ran a 15 Art/3 Pal/2 Sorc version (wanted Reconstruction), and it was quite powerful with mostly lootgen/AH caster items.

If you like ranged vs. melee, I've seen an Arti/Bard repeater template rock the house. Sorry, don't have the build, just witnessed it first-hand (w/ a gimped Cleric PL behind it, iirc), so know it's there.

Yah, what everyone else said: An Epic Past Life only requires you to give up 6mil XP in the sphere, it doesn't require you to have levels in the pre-req's for the sphere. So level your destinies cross-sphere, playing whatever main playstyle you want. Twist In useful stuff from the destinies that actually help you, and suffer (quietly) the pain of having your active destiny have zero synergy with your playstyle.

Even just jumping on the usual dailies on EH, you should be able to fill out a full sphere in less than a week, and that's without even trying.
