Hello all and greetings.
I am building 2 druid multi classes to complete my collection of toons. I have one of every prestige already built and at level 20 or higher, and I made many many multis in between doing this that also went to 20, some I kept, some I ditched because they lacked originality and seemed like lesser versions of pure classes. At last I find myself contemplation 2 druid types to complete. One is going to be a wolf and the other a bear. This thread will focus on the wolf...
After playing every single prestige class without exploiting anything (all fair) I have decided to make a very broken build with the wolf. (the bear... is more challenging, but that is another thread).
I present...
Broken Bite
Option A
Druid 8 Fighter 6 Ranger 6
or
Option B
Druid 9 Fighter 6 Ranger 5
or
Option C
Druid 9 Fighter 5 Ranger 6
I cant decide which is the most broken, maybe some help would clear the matter? I already made a PDK and tested a level 15 version of Option A using Dance of Death with GSWF and all the DPS feats I could get... truly Amazing, at lvl 15 its well above its par and can take on content above its level, smashes up mobs in seconds, and basically performs impressively.
I realized though without Druid lvl 9 I lose natural fighting option and on a wolf... that just seems like... 18% double strike down the drain. So Option B and C remedy this, but each loses a little in the trade. Option be loses many shot and ITWF, which as I understand adds 10% procs, not much but something. The loss of many shots isnt so bad, its not built for missile combat anyways and I find many shots sorta sucks if you don't focus on missile dps. Still sometimes its handy. Other then that the it still has access to Dance of Death which has nothing to do with levels and is keystone to the build.
Option C keeps ITWF and Manyshots but loses 1 choice feat. Also, the new Kensai tree is far better then the old one, good update.. at level 6 there is a +1 crit multiple to all weapons on core 3, and if this carries over to wolf form it would be too much to pass up. It would be good to know if the new kensai crit is working with wolf, I think I ran a test earlier and it didnt seem to do much, but I didnt play with it enough to be 100%, was just quick testing. Can anyone verify if it works or not?
Right now I am thinking Option B is the way to go so or so, it gives natural fighting x3, GSWF, Imp Crits, Dance, and provides everything the build needs to work right. If anyone sees that one of the other options is better it would be very interesting to see if they could point it out, because I just do not see it. Sorry if I am not putting all the feat for feat starting stat info on, I am assuming I dont have to, that the players are so familiar with dps they know where all three options are going without me getting too specific.
So, the challenge is to prove option A or C is better somehow or easily concede and admit option B is the best.
Thank you, soon Broken Bite will be running around drooling pure cheese wiz in some rapid frenzy tearing trails through mobs... :P
