Eldritch Aura damage glitch

PSA to anyone running with auras. When you drink any potion or elixir, swap items (rings, cloaks, helms, etc., including cosmetics), your Eldritch Aura damage drops significantly. You need to toggle your aura off and back on again to get it back to normal. To see this easily, activate the magefire cannon on your guild ship (I prefer this over the test dummy because there's no reset), get your base numbers, then swap an item or drink a potion. Hey, I had a guy with two warlocks complain upon logging on 12/12/2016 and finding they are no longer prof w/ medium armor. Resetting ES fixed it. Was wondering if anyone else or you could varify a similar situation?

I've never heard of any bug involving a character losing proficiency in any proficiency granted by their class for any reason. That sounds very strange. I feel like, if it was a real bug affecting characters, people would be reporting it all over the forums, especially considering how many people play warlocks now. I'm not saying that it's not a real thing necessarily; but I'm kind of skeptical... Maybe they equipped a heavy armor that they thought was medium for some reason, got confused when they saw a non-proficiency message, coincidentally reset some enhancements, put on a different armor that was actually medium, and confusedly came to a mythical conclusion?

Definitely not an issue with the enhancements. I've reset mine a few times to tweak and optimize my build and the aura bug is present after each variation.

Guessing that all active skills will bring things to normal. Diplomacy, Bluff, and Intim also work. I've been using Diplo since you can keep moving.

This has been an issue for quite some time. I believe it is linked directly to spellpower. I usually have my radiance on a one handed weapon. Swapping this with another weapon set and back will also reset it.

Reequip weapons that you already hold also work. You got message something like: "You already have equipped weapons" and auras back to normal. I think this is the fastest way (especially in the middle on the battle), that I figured out.

Yep, this is what I do when I swap to a scroll and back to my regular weapon - equip the weapon, and then hit the hotbar for the weapon set next to it with both scepters I'm already holding, and I'm good.
