For me, the rings I use the most are actually some BtoA old-style cannith crafted - ml3 moderate (75%) fortification & ml7 heavy (100%) fortification, they get passed around my TRs a lot, then I'll often switch them out to the Laurel Helix at level 14 for the remainder of the heroic levelling.

The old ToD rings were pretty cool & it was interesting how they'd tie in with your enhancements - IMO for a more up to date version for legendary content, having that same approach but having extra effects linked to your Scion feat instead would be great.

I'm rather partial to the Dun Robar ring with 10% tendon slice as it applies to ranged attacks to help slow things down and keep them at a safe distance, great in combination with crippling, leg shot etc. since they all stack to get enemies moving at a crawl. The Avithoul one is nice for the improved deception effect too.

Good call on the ring of elemental essence, it's a great one for lowbie druids as well as wizards & if you happen to get the epic version it can be a decent one for a little while too, though like many s/s/s items it's not really worth hunting for it specifically.

The ring of venom from red fens is pretty badly outdated, but the poison from the set bonus can dish out some ridiculous (I've seen 40 points or more in a single hit) amounts of stat damage to make things temporarily helpless thanks to how ability damage scales at higher difficulties, shame the other effects on the items are so outdated.

Ring of spellstoring is ok as an emergency SP reserve & handy trick on an artificer, their ability to increase the caster level of clickies will mean you get more SP back from it - if you have the arcanotechnician capstone each click will get you 105sp

I'm very much with Mythery in the love of cosmetics - I like being able to make a character have a single consistent appearance throughout their life & my most recent investment was the night revels witches robes, hat & broomstick for my stick user Though I'd prefer to have cloaks over boots as the next item.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.
