yes i know that i have 87 or points. i need to wittle that down.
i ran up to 30 as a 18 2 warlock pally - switching to full lock.
i went es with se t5 to play with wave. it just doesnt suit my playstyle with targeting and such

i really like the capstone from ts, but not sure about the rest of the tree.

so tear it down so i can build it up.

as for gear - what i am using right now -
lenses from the illusiory larcenry quest - swap for search google when neccessary
crafted con 13 repair amp docent
panospic circlet - heroic version need to farm the epic version
gs hp belt
devil boots
quiver of alacrity
random spell power buffs/resistance for most of the rest
slavers trinket - epic version

so my gear can use some work as well

Going tier 5 in one tree and capstone in the other doesn't work with the 11 points required in bladeforged for reconstruct SLA. All you are getting from the heavy ES spend is the spirit blast, 3d6 and knockdown immunity and a tiny amount of PRR/MRR when you can instead take eldritch ball that also has targeting issues but it's been reported that it is double-proc'ing so it's over double damage of spirit blast.

With the 11 Pt bladeforged spend for repair SLA I would go 41 in one tree (tier 5 and capstone) and then squeeze in whatever you can get from the other. It's basically a survivability vs. dps trade-off so the better one depends mostly on gear, preference and your own experience.

Spirit Blast, Eldritch Burst, Energy Burst, Divine Wrath and Aura all work very well together. Spirit blast damage is sufficiently low since the 2 nerfs that it's not really needed in an epic rotation so the eldritch ball gives you a nice option from distance and then others can be used at close range.

As long as you can survive without the ES defenses I think your best AP spend is 11 Bladeforged, 41 Tainted Scholar and 28 ES. In my opinion this is the optimal spend for a bladeforged, but if survivability is an issue 11 bladeforged, 41 ES, 28 Tainted Scholar.

The DPS boost at level 20 for the TS capstone is about 8.5% if your crit chance is 50%. With lower crit chance or with 5-peice LGS the dps boost is less:

Calcs assume Scion of Fire and no LGS boosts:

Without TS Capstone: 100 Base Damage, 100 Crit Base Damage, 25 Scion of Fire, 30 Core 2 and 4

255% * 50% + 100% * 50% = 177.5% damage on average

With TS Capstone: 100 Base Damage, 100 Crit Base Damage, 25 Scion of Fire, 30 Core 2 and 4, 30 Capstone

285% * 50% + 100% * 50% = 192.5% damage on average

192.5% / 177.5% = 1.0845, i.e., approximately a 8.5% dps boost with the capstone (not counting loss of 3d6 light spellpower or extra TS spellpower which are close enough to be immaterial).

Your aura drops from once every 2 seconds to once every 3 seconds but that is enough to charge up empyrean magic, blood and radiance and reborn in the light. The damage from aura isn't that significant except for builds with low dps that rely mostly no the 2 low dps ES blasts and multiple aura ticks.

Yeah I prefer fire since it works with ruin/greater ruin/arcane pulse/hellball/energy burst. The HP are nice, but the prr/mrr isn't bad.

For level 21 you can either take wellspring of power (nice for boss fights esp) or epic eldritch blast.

For level 24 you can either take intensify or burst of glacial wrath

For 26 I usually take the other arcane epic eld blast feat and hellball 28.

29 is usually arcane pulse for casters but some take dire charge for cc. ES/TS isn't really great for boss damage so i would go with arcane pulse.

27 I usually take ruin and 30 I take greater ruin and scion of fire.

Arcane pulse is nice becasue it stacks up to 5 times and metamagic is based on the last cast. So what I usually do is throw the first 4 stacks quickly with no meta (8 spell points) and then cast a 5th stack fully meta'd. The stacks only need to be renewed every 15 seconds after that.

There are a few options to get to 0% arcane spell failure with adamantine plating on a wf/bf, but I would just go with mithril plating and an augment as AP are tight on a warlock. If you want more prr there is always skyvault shield which gives 15 PRR/15MRR with no feats/ed simply by using master's touch. With 2 pal 2 more feats gives 15 more PRR and then you can get 15 more PRR for 1 twist.

Mithril Body feat for Warforged and Battleforged is the medium armour choice for those races. You can even stack in the dodge based feats as well, to help some at the cost of other feats of course.
