Default The Shroud not loved anymore.

For some reason I can fathom, it seems nobody love doing The Shroud anymore. I think people get up to a point which would be Waxing Moon area, and they keep getting killed by the blades and the wall of instant death. At a certain point, they get enraged and the same thing happens again or twice; and this leads to Rage Quitting. If turbine takes out something, it should the wall of instant death because it's just painful. This raid apart from the legendary version of it just doesn't get loved anymore.

At level 30 it's easy enough to solo the heroic one. That's why you aren't seeing groups for it.

Mainly it is way faster than waiting for the group. There was a lfm up for the Shroud during the time we run whole Deathwyrm on hard (+ waiting time in the tower for a few more people). After, we wanted to join the Shroud with my friend. The lfm didn't say anything but was opened up to level 30. But since there were only players under level 20 in the lfm I rather asked if they aren't doing it for xp too, just to be sure. The reply that came wasn't exactly polite so we have decided to run it alone. By the time we finished, they were stepping in.

As for the OP, definitely no to removing the wall. Those are exactly the mechanics the game needs more of.

is this heroic shroud? has it become harder than it was? havent run it since coming back I do not remember the wall being that bad in heroic if you had people doing simple things.

that wall is no problem in legendary.

I've thought epic Shroud was a bit boring from the first time I ran it. It just takes a lot longer because everything has a jillion hit points.
All on Thelanis: Archenpaul Sixblade (Epic Triple Completionist), Archernicus Thornwood, Crestellin Moonwood, Gregorovic Redcloak, Jaklomeo Evermug, Jarladdin Nalfesne, Jonathraxius Kane, and Praetoreus Silvershield (Heroic Triple Completionist, Epic Triple Completionist.)

Leader of Guinness Knights (Level 165), which is (since June 2021) a two-man, father-son guild.

    Cogito ergo summopere periculosus.

I love shroud, but people are more focused on TR or slavers at the moment.

    I like it.

But I want xp for it.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

The problem is not the raid, but the people who runs it.
In each raid, you have people who know the raid, people who don't know yet the raid (because they are still learning it) and people who don't want to learn the raid

When you have some people from Category#1, raid is a success
If you don't have people from Category#1 but most are from Category#2, raid can still be a success, but it can take lot of time/deaths
If you have mostly people from Category#3, chances of failure are great

Heroic Shroud is an old raid, so there are less runs and often people who need to do the raids are not veterans

Also, Heroic Shroud is a level 17 raid, but often groups have people from level 16-30
Heroic Shroud can be tough for level 16-20, but no danger for level 25-30. And on elite, blades can kill quickly when they do double hit

Then I say people in Category #3 are just dumb idiots, I never have any of those people when I'm leading a group. Even if I do, I just boot and squelch them.
