Did they break the Ruby of the Endless Night?

When I used the RotEN augment before it would sometimes cause a purple spiral cone to descend on a mob and its life would drop significantly. Yesterday I moved a RotEN from one bow to my brand new Fatal Flaw crossbow but it never seems to do anything at all. Did they break the augment in the last update or is there some other problem?

Well it could be that you tried to use it on mob that are resistant to level drain.

Thanks, Draegnar, it may be that mobs with enough HP to survive Fatal Flaw's 1500 point vorpal strike may be immune to the Ruby of the Endless Night's level drain. I removed the RotEN and replaced it with a Meteoric Star Ruby I was able to purchase on the Shard auction. The new augment does go off once in a while. Too bad I it cost me 30 Astral Shards and two jeweller's tool kits to get something that works.

Pure arty and use Maximise and Tactical Detonation. Why is TD not an arty SLA?




I use my maxed and blinged Needle as my neg leveler. Later on in game this becomes a situational shooter.
