Default Dog collars are wraps, we need the feat now they are considered exotic weapons

So now that handwraps are an exotic weapon when will arty dogs and druid wolves get the feat that removes the penalty to use what is the ONLY weapon they can use in the game? Our pets have pitiful DPS compared to fighters as it is and despite using monk weapons converted are not considered monks.

Default I expected something like this

Making handwraps an exotic weapon made no sense to me, thematically nor technically.

Also: collar prefixes and suffixes aren't working on wolf or iron defender.

Tested crafted, random, named wrap converted to collar.
    Unequipped and reequipped the collars.
    Only standard damage is showing.
Cast elemental damage on iron defender and the elemental damage shows.

Prior to the update random generated collars prefixes and suffixes were working, new crafted collars prefixes and suffixes were not working.

    They are all broken now.

Was this report through in-game testing? What makes you feel that Artificer Iron Defenders and Druid Wolf Pets are not-proficient in collars?

We're looking into these issues with hopes of having them resolved during our next patch (which is SUPER tentatively planned for next wednesday).

Will try and keep you updated on how that process is going! =]

O come on everybody told you changing hand wraps would break collars.

    Seriously.

We know this wasn't on purpose and we know (or I think we do) that pet-hireling AI/UI/equippage is a complicated mess but we need you to fix the pets at least because pets are a major feature of druid and arty.

For those who want some evidence, Memnir has posted a screenshot of a dog getting a non-proficient penalty here:

Might as well post it here, too. I meant to check on it when this thread first got going, but kinda forgot.

Will this also fix the AH & SE problems in bot displaying handwraps (see link above, Kantia's post)?
