Default U33 Unarmed Shintoa - which attribute for attack and damage and which stance.

    https://www.ddo.com/en/update-33-release-notes

U33 I think will allow Dexterity and Intellect for hit and damage as well as Strength. Wind Stance gets stacking 12 Doublestrike while Sun stance gets +1 crit multi on 19-20 as well as +1 tactics DC after the -2 Wis penalty. Intellect doesn't benefit from any monk stance but increases KtA tactics and damage components, but probably still not optimal choice.

Im thinking of still using Strength and use Sun Stance as can also boost strength with rage pots, primal scream and tensors. Wind Stance on Dex build also gets benefit of tensors.

Also any Dex build I can come up with would have 16 dex at max while str at 14 max unless dropping wis down to 16. Though can get 16 str with 18 wis, 12 dex, 12 con and 10 int, but this causes issues getting the prerequisite feats in for whirlwind.

So for strength build I think for human its the same as before with 14 str, 14 dex, 12 con,12 int, 18 wis, 8 cha until the possible new universal tree that will allow wis for hit and damage.

I assume 36pt build and that you're including some tomes in that? It's not clear.

Being I twist the Earth stance bonuses for extra PRR from GMoF , I am sticking to Earth stance. And I always put level ups in strength. Stunning fist is good for single targets but I can live without. Would rather use my Ki for damage.

Yes, base on 36pt build with the relevant tomes to meet feat requirements.

It's not just stunning fist that benefits from Wis. Kukan-Do will have a +5 dc over stunning fist and is ranged stun. Jade Strike (15sec cd) will apply 10% physical damage vulnerability and -25% fortication on failed save as well as stunning on crits against the target. Also, Tomb of Jade (1min cd) stun and Shining Star dance finisher.
