Help me with a solo-friendly build

Man I tried posting this before and I auto-logged out while I was typing it so now I gotta do it all over again. Lame.

Anyways, I've recently returned after about two and a half years and found out my main is gimpy as gimps can get and I wanna TR him as soon as he hits 20 (I prefer leveling over endgame so I'm not gonna bother grinding EDs this life) and I need some suggestions for builds. I've noticed the LFM panel is often a bit bare so I want something that can solo reasonably well. Here's some criteria and info:

- 34-pt build with Paladin past life
- Access to most races/classes except HOrc, Deep Gnome, all Iconics, Warlock and Druid
- Good self-heals preferably through the blue bar, and survivability either through saves and Evasion or high AC/PRR, doesn't really matter
- Decent DPS, good enough that I can solo most content reasonably well on most difficulties
- Melee combat, TWF if possible (only because I like it but I can compromise)

Currently my character is going to be a 15 Pal/3 Rgr/2 Mnk but I feel like Paladin heals are kinda weak, even with Empower Healing. For that reason, I'm considering something like a 15 Cleric/x Paladin/x Fighter or Monk. Maybe FvS instead of Cleric. I dunno. And that's exactly why I need you guys. If you have any suggestions at all, please share, or if there's already a relatively current build floating around that fits my criteria decently, share that as well! I've looked around a little bit and haven't found anything that tickled my fancy.

Well, I was going to recommend ranger, but if you think pally heals are weak, rgrs are a step behind them (no Lay on Hands). So that means looking at bards, clerics, and FvS (or druids if you buy them).

Swashbuckler is certainly a good melee DPS PrE, but it's tied to SWF. Clerics & FvS have excellent healing, obviously, but weak melee DPS without heavy multiclassing; although the new deity choices in U33 open up some intriguing options, particularly Silvanus (unfortunately restricted to DG, PDK & SDK). Somewhere I have a DEX-based druid 15 / rog 5 build: TWF w/daggers, tier-5 Assassin for melee DPS, some Nature's Warrior buffs, and an elemental form - it's a flavor build, but one which has both decent DPS and plenty of self-heals; and should work with other classes.

Get some healing items man. Healing amp, positive spell power, and critical. Also Cocon, or one of the other epic healing abilities. Also Empathic Healing is nice. Use Heal scrolls and stuff, if you have UMD.

Paladins are one of the classes with best healing, only classes that have better healing are Clerics and FWS.

Or go with barb and ravager, get some healing from tier 5 ability and rocket through some levels.
