Haven't seen this being discussed elsewhere (maybe I just need to look harder) but it just occurred to me that by having handwraps coded as actual weapons now, not only does this finally open up the possibility of heroic & legendary greensteel wraps being added, but also it opens up the design space for non-standard wraps - so while we aren't getting wisdom to hit & damage in general, there's now no reason why we can't have specific named wraps that grant it, or have expanded crit ranges, extra crit multiplier, or which inherently have piercing or slashing damage types.
They could even (using the same approach with Sireth being a spear but typed in-game as a quarterstaff) add a set which are effectively katars. Or wolverine claws - which would be nice for a bladeforged to match that particular skin![]()
