    Default Handwraps as weapons

Haven't seen this being discussed elsewhere (maybe I just need to look harder) but it just occurred to me that by having handwraps coded as actual weapons now, not only does this finally open up the possibility of heroic & legendary greensteel wraps being added, but also it opens up the design space for non-standard wraps - so while we aren't getting wisdom to hit & damage in general, there's now no reason why we can't have specific named wraps that grant it, or have expanded crit ranges, extra crit multiplier, or which inherently have piercing or slashing damage types.

They could even (using the same approach with Sireth being a spear but typed in-game as a quarterstaff) add a set which are effectively katars. Or wolverine claws - which would be nice for a bladeforged to match that particular skin
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

I'd love to see Scorching Wraps modified in that way (changing damage type to pierce, instead of just adding piercing damage).

Ooh, that brings a worry to mind: I wonder if Vorpal Strikes still works, given another impact of changing handwraps to weapons that may have been unintended: ToD burst effect rings no longer work with handwraps.

They do work when no "weapons" are equipped, however.

Ah well, at least the ToD bugs are to be expected. Hopefully Vorpal Strikes didn't sneak under the radar.
