Will the saves for jade strike and Tomb of Jade be useful? I like the changes to make them useful against everything but with 10 + wis + monk level be enough. With my level 30 monk my DC is a 61. I currently sitting at 72 wisdom with 20 levels of monk and 10 epic? This is less then the 66 that my QP has. Now I have room to improve my wisdom to be close to 80 with some more gear but that will only get me to a 65 DC.
Devs what do your data say about the usefullness of that level of Save. QP gets a boost ever time it misses. That way at the least every 5th time you can get a kill. Shouldn't smite tainted, jade strike and tomb of jade get that too. Or better yet improve from stunning bonuses. You can make an arguement that they are just like stunning fist. Tomb of Jade is a stun but the mob turns green instead of seeing stars.
Devs you have gotten closers with these attacks. You just have to get the rest of the way there.
On as side note, I think it is a shame you did nothing to the elemental light elemental finish buffs. I suggest a simple buff to duration would make them useful. 6 seconds per monk level. So at level 20 you get a 20 min buff instead of just one. Though I do think you should remove the requirement of doing the 3 attacks and open it to do it when ever but give it the 9 second cool down and the ki cost that would be equal to doing the 3 attacks.
So Grasp of the dragon would cost 20 ki and have a cool down of 9 seconds (though you could make it 30 and I would still be happy) If you did this you could not do the duration item and still make the finishers used more often.
