Default Wisdom for Attack and Damage

I think that there should be a comparable (to other classes) ability in one of the trees (I am suggesting Shintao) that grants attack and damage bonus from wisdom. Just about every other class has its core ability stat linked to their damage now (intel for rogue, str for fighters, charisma for PDK, dex for rangers and casters certainly across the board), so I think it time for wisdom to be added for monk. It would definitely need to be for centered weapons only of course.

It'd be nice, but it was mentioned somewhere (maybe the livestream?) that wis to hit & damage was intended to be introduced in a forthcoming universal enhancement tree - no other info available yet as far as I know, though.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

I think it would be nice to introduce it with the class that can benefit from it? There are more than one class that grant int to attack/damage as well as dex to attack and damage, should not be an issue to give it to Shintao monks as well as an upcoming universal tree, no?

Better that it'll go in an universal tree; monks are not the only wisdom class. Cleric, Favored Soul (hybrid DC caster-melee build for the sake of arguing), Druid, and even Ranger or Paladin could go wisdom for whatever reason. Also add in epic destiny abilities that use wisdom DCs, epic feats, etc. There are plenty of other builds that can use wisdom to damage/hit besides just monks. I'd rather it be an universal tree that be a splash gated behind alignment requirements, etc.

Is it wise to attack and damage others? Intelligent, maybe--the rational mind finds reasons to justify all sorts of violence. But out of wisdom, peace is born.

I am saying both places. Monks should get it in one of their trees AS WELL AS having it in a universal tree. The precedent is already set for that.
