While I understand items that are bound to account I do have some problems with this...

I am on f2p currently and without having the shared bank account I cannot transfer these items between my characters so they are absolutely worthless.

A simple fix would be to allow them to be mailed between my characters - you would just have to do a quick check to see if the characters belong to the same account.

The PTW solution to get players to spend real money to overcome artificially created obstacles.

and really .. are they absolutely worthless just because you cant transfer them to alts without upgrading your account to VIP for a month or cracking the wallet open to purchase the shared bank for 1495 TP
..How would BTC help you because that's what they used to be... BTA is an upgrade..

2 easy solutions...

1) Spend the TP and buy Shared Bank when it's on sale. That's one of the first things for any multi-toon account, and altho' it's a big chunk, it's also easy enough to do. If you're committed to being F2P, then accept that you'll have to earn some TP. Currently it's easy enough to get 100(+?) on each server, and combined with some home-server advanced questing that's enough for the Shared Bank.

I'm 99% F2P Premium and had no prob getting the Shared Bank, never looked back.


2) Become Premium and rejoice. Buy "something" (anything!) with real money, and enjoy the perks. If you want to buy points, wait 'til they're on sale, and just do it (altho' some of the better packs come w/ points, and are the way to go imo.)

That last also supports a great game, and if you figure $/hr it's far less than buying a beer.

A shared bank is probably the single most useful account upgrade for anyone with multiple alts, in large part because it enables you to move BtA items between chars. So naturally, it's also one of the most expensive (1495 TPs). And you are asking for a way to sidestep that restriction for free.

I'm not gonna tell you not to wish for what you wish for, but maaaybe take a moment to consider how unlikely that is to occur.

You are the only person that can FIX it. You can FIX it in 6 ways:

1. Grind TP by Favor and buy Shared Bank
2. Spend money for TP and buy Shared Bank
3. Sell items that you can't use
4. Post on AH / ASAH items that you can't use
5. Destroy items that you can't use
6. Store items that you can't use, maybe after TR you can use it.

As you can see, these items are not "absolutely worthless".

Once you're down to getting just 25 TP per 100 Favour earned {You've got to let's say 500 Favour on EVERY Server - Actually I'm up to 2000+ on Most now myself} it's a slog to get anything major that you don't already have.

For a true F2Per that point will come quite early as 500 Favour per Server is 4000 in total or a total of 2,200 Free TP {275 per Server} which will get you Vale, Gianthold and one or two other packs or Necro IV Bundle + Gianthold and maybe IQ1.
THAT'S IT from your 500 Favour Run on Each Server!

To get let's say the 10 Most Important Quest Packs, Destinies AND Shared Bank you're looking at a truly awesome Favour Grind that goes way way way past just getting 2k Favour per Server! {and that's discounting that if you're truly F2P you've not got MotU - I think Shadowfell can basically be got with Favour TP but MotU can't}.
