Just wondering; why don't shield feats affect orb use. I know this does not include Armor Class, but there bonuses seem to not function with orbs at all. For example, bonuses to enhancements do not add the orbs base enhancement bonuses, but the bonus does show up in the description in green as a +X to the shield bonus of the orb.

At one point shield feats did work with orbs. However, they made a decision that orbs are not shields.
I think part of this is because an orb only works as a "shield" when you shield block.

I was expecting more a "We need more orbs". To me that is the love that is needed for orbs.
