    Default Deep Gnome Melee help

Soooo… I’ve screwed up my TR toon and I’m now stuck as a L15 Deep Gnome Art/Pal/Mon 10/3/2. The intention was to get to 15/3/2 and play as a castificer evasion build but it’s so boring, and lightning immunes take forever with the pew-pew-pew. So as I’m casual, and don’t want to be months playing out of a build that makes me want to not play the game, I’m going to blow some hearts on it, even if it takes a couple of +20’s to do it.
I do have a couple of constrains and rules:-

    Constraints:
1- Must be Deep Gnome as I’m using LR’s
2- Must be Lawful Good as I’m using LR’s, (unless there’s a compelling build I can get to with LHeart20, alignment change, LHeart20 or similar)

    Rules:
1- Must be a triple multiclass. Personal preference as I have only ever played triple class toons for reasons. Any dual class or pure class no matter how good will not be played. Gotta be triple.
2- Must be melee. I’ve tried ranged and casting and it’s just not me. Don’t enjoy it. I can have a bit of ranged or casting (gimped damage or DC, don’t care) but not at the expense of capable melee.
3- DPS is good. I don’t need excellent if it’s at the expense of defences.

    Wants:
I’m kinda interested if anyone can make a int build as I really like colour spray (even with its gimp DC) and KTA.

Usually a solo player so self-sufficiency has to be considered but I can wait and twist cocoon in later.

One final caveat. This may be my last toon so I’ll probably leave it at cap for occasional play at end game as real life is a thing now.

Leveling order of the gimp life is:

    1. Artificer 6. Artificer 11. Artificer 16. Artificer
    2. Paladin 7. Artificer 12. Artificer 17. Artificer
    3. Artificer 8. Paladin 13. Artificer 18. Artificer
    4. Artificer 9. Monk 14. Paladin 19. Artificer
    5. Artificer 10. Artificer 15. Monk 20. Artificer

    Any help is appreciated

    Your build is fine.

LD acrocaster cleric in cleric forums is a hybrid built around gnome. Leave the pali levels for defensive stance (6 ap basic) and divine grace, take 12 cleric, 5 rogue.

fighter/bard/rogue is pure melee, built around elf but could be swapped to gnome.

So I'm going with this, probably cookie cutter build, once U33 goes live.

No racial action boosts but SLA color spray and stoneskin helps with defenses

T5 Kensai with Maul is +20 Melee Power, T3 Henshin is +30, +24 from SD, +20 from Scion and +6 from feats is a standing 100 MP. Decent crit range at x4 and 19-20 of x6 or x7 depending on destiny.

Immense dodge, 25% incorp, OK PRR, perma blur and displacement.

CC from color spray (it's ace) and dire charge DC should be OK.

Deciding on whether to go LD or SD. I like both LD for all the reasons however SD would let me drop all of Ninja Spy for Sacred Defender. Hmm...decisions.

How about a real swashbuckler rogue bard fighter that makes use of cleaves and improved feint?

    12 bard, 6 fighter, 6 rogue.

Improved feint is a more reliable AOE deception. "As long as you spec and gear for bluff"

Yeah it's a good build and since U23 came out pretty much every build I've had except some warlock lives has been a SWF swash of some kind.

I think the changes to Henshin giving melee power, along with the synergy with T5 Kensai, are maybe just good enough to help me give up my swash addiction

(That and it'd take me an additional L20 and an alignment change)

If you're proposing swapping Arty for Ftr, you need to LR out all of your arty lvls first, then LR in your ftr lvls, because you can't have more than three classes in your char at any one time during the LR process.

Given the OP's constraints, let's not take an already complicated LR process and make it more complicated by trying to figure out how to (A) swap out three classes for three ENTIRELY DIFFERENT classes and (B) oh yeah, work in an alignment swap somewhere too, shall we?

[Besides, last time I checked, Imp Feint still had that annoying lag on it whenever you tried to use it.]

So by my reckoning my last arty level is L13. So if I remove all my arty levels for pally or monk by then I can change L13 for fighter. So then I can take L14/15 as fighter as they're one of my three classes and then the last 5 levels as fighter. Boom 8/6/6 I think.
