Repossession, 2x bookshelf 1x alchemy table in the rooms connected to the entrance
Tested this morning for you.
Spies didn't drop any the run I did to check but I know I've got from those before. Did a couple of runs of Runed Halls after and dropped Chipped Bone Talosman and then Polished ore so can confirm that those two types of gargoyles are dropping T4.
Hope this helps
Hey, thank you so much for the awesome guide! I was running Mask of Deception on HC a few times to farm T3 goodies and I noticed that, while the Scroll Rack was correctly giving me T3 Arcane and the the Rubble was correctly giving me T3 Any, for some reason the Cabinet was only giving me T4 Lore. This might or might not be a bug, but it seemed really strange regardless. I apologize if this has been brought up already.

This was my 100 today. I hide during the drop to save a little time and go in on EN to save the mouse click. Sometime entering while the audio from the previous run is still going.
Common(77): 11 Ancient Text, 16 Brass Censer, 13 Crypt Moth 37 Flint Knife.
Uncommon(20): 4 Pouch of Bone Fragment, 4 Archaic Logbook, 1 Hairy Trumpet Mushroom, 11 Ornate Charm
Rare(3): 2 Adventuring Oratorio, 1 Token of the Spider
Lore(17): 11 Ancient Text, 4 Archaic Logbook, 2 Adventuring Oratorio
Arcane(20): 16 Brass Censer, 4 pouch of Bone Fragments
Natural(14): 13 Crypt Moth, 1 Hairy Trumpet Mushroom
Cultural(49): 37 Flint Knifes, 11 Ornate Charm, 1 Token of the Spider
Sylvado, I for one love seeing your posted results. It is much appreciated.
Testing treasure bag drops based on mob types, I'm not seeing any at all. Are treasure bags like remnants and renown? They don't appear if you're way overlevel?
EDIT: Nevermind, I guess humans just don't drop treasure bags. My very first kill in kobold assault dropped a prayer bead, then like 3 kills later a small wooden idol.
I'm testing these on a level 30, and for humans I ran all of Swiped Signet and half of Proof is in the Poison before giving up without a single bag.

Tier 2 Cultural: The Tear of Dhakaan
Make your way to the city for endless respawns of goblinoids, who drop tier 2s. Stay as long as you need.
I tested 5:00 in the city and got 8 bags. (They don't respawn all that fast.) Figure 40 seconds per bag.
The one that gives me fits is the glass phial (tier 3 arcane, uncommon) (used in constitution shards). The problem is there are 3 types of T3 arcane uncommons, so the chances on it are annoyingly low. It grates my nerves that there's no real market or trading on my server to speak of for collectibles.
The Enemy within apparently has like 18 arcane nodes in it--fairly long quest but decent xp. Maybe I need to do an Elite and hard run on it this life.
I REALLY don't like the whole zone in, fight a few things, collect and recall method. I've the patience to do 'breaking the ranks' for naturals, but that's about it really. So what I want is collectible gathering that coexists well with gaining xp. What I really want of course is a smooth functional market so that I can trade what I don't want for what I do, but that's not happening considering that we can't even get a global trade channel that everyone is in by default. The days of channels being usefully separated by zone are gone, we need a default global trade channel (and honestly, probably a default global advice channel also).

Until then, check out my new crafting planner, posted this morning, which includes the farming information from this thread. With permission from dancing_hawktopus, of course, who is prominently credited at the end of every farming list. For example, (looking for one that's small enough to fit on a single screen...,) here's the Amber Vial screen:

That "farming data" link in the credit links back to this thread.
I saw that this am, but I'm not home yet to check it out. Didn't sound like it'd work on my phone. But definitely planning on checking it out tonight.
Thank you, it looks like it'll be really useful.
They're also used in Good Effect shards. So probably two of the most generally useful shards out there. And they seem to be rarer than the other arcane uncommons - I spent an hour in Vol farming the two sides and only pulled one phial, but 3 & 5 of the other two. I even snagged two of the "rare" T3 arcanes.

Similar to my first farming session for Tier 6 Cultural. I was making a ton of items and I needed something insane like 30 Ornate Charms. Starting from no Tier 6s at all, I was getting more Tokens of the Spider (rare culture) than Ornate Charms (uncommon culture) for a very long time. I think I got to 15 spider tokens before 15 ornate charms.
A couple of observations.
After farming 100 appropriate nodes I have found that Blister Beetles drop at the same comparably low rate as Scarlet Cryptomoss, making them "rare" and not "uncommon". I'm still compiling statistics on this one.
According to the Wiki page I consult, Arcane collectables don't drop from bookshelves. They do in The Prisoner maze, making that a poor place to source Lore collectables. The Wiki page could be wrong and it would be nice to know if it is, but that is no criticism of the Wiki.
Farmed HN Vol (still within the tier, and switching to casual was one click too many) for an hour last night. First collectible I picked up included a Small Eberron Dragonshard. Second or third run, I got a Glass Phial. About 20 minutes later, I had a run with *two* glass phials. I knew then that I should've stopped because I'd obviously used up all my luck on that one run, but I stubbornly kept going... I was right, no more glass phials lol
