Is there any reason drow don't get the ability to use dexterity modifier for hit and damage with their xen'drink weapons? Regular elves get to use theirs.

I was all excited to make a dual wield max charisma drow bard, but since they can't use dex fir damage my stats would be too spread.

You can do this in the swash tree
Different Tack: Choose One:

• Smooth Flourishes: You get Charisma to Damage with weapon attacks while Single Weapon Fighting.
• Swift Strikes: You get Dexterity to Damage with weapon attacks while Single Weapon Fighting.
• Two Steps Ahead: You get Intelligence to Damage with weapon attacks Single Weapon Fighting.

The drow and elven trees should be like gnome in that, with a significant investment, you can make shortswords and longswords (respectivily) have an extra crit multiplier like a Khopesh, so 19-20/3. This would open up a lot of build possibilities although they would be flavor, not OP. Swash anyway will make shortswords have a solid crit profile (with IC: piercing, you will have 15-20/3)

Ah, thank you. I decided to just go half orc for strength and two handed fighting. I'm going the Warchanter route with high charisma for dcs and the sorceror epic destiny.
