Lost 30 astral shards after feat swap

Hi, I opened two tickets in game (#3563463 and #3565704), but both got the "we cannot help while you're offline" answer.
I know it's my fault, but I'm from Europe and I play mostly in the morning (night in the US).

Well, back to my issue. I swapped a feat with Fred using a free swap token, it worked but now I've 30 astral shards less than before, and I don't know why.
Could it be possible to have them back, please?

If the only problem is I'm offline when you try to help me, isn't there another way to handle the issue?
Couldn't you, for example, send my an in-game mail with 30 AS attached? Or, I don't know, give me a coupon to but 30 AS from the store?
I could even post a mundane dagger on the AS auction house with a 45 AS buyout, so that if you buy it I get 30 AS after the fee.

If nothing of the above is reasonable, at what time should I try to open another ticket, so that I'll be online when you see it?

I think it's possible to spend Astral Shards to complete a feat swap. Is it possible you did that instead of the traditional method?

Feat respec costs 15 astral shards, and I swapped only one feat.
Furthermore, I no longer have the free feat respec token, so I'm quite confident I did everything correctly.

Maybe I found what was the problem.
I had action points spent on an enhancement that required that feat.
A window popped telling me my enhancements will be resetted, I clicked OK and it reseted enhancements and swapped feat.

Resetting enhancements costs 30 astral shards. But it did not specify it would have used astral shards to reset them, otherwise I would have closed the process and resetted them manually with plats.

How could I have known? I even expected it to be a free reset, not even costing plats.

The trick to not loosing astral shards is not to have them, and to ignore astral shard system altogether. The system is buggy as all hell, and easy to miss click if you don't pay attention. Just boycot it, unless you want to get scammed (technically lost to bugs, but if system is designed in a buggy way that eats your stuff time and time again, I call it a scam).

And Turbine encourages it, by breaking plat economy time and time again, so people use shard auction house.
