Orphaned Lesser Essences

Is there a plan to be able to mix different types of lesser essences to convert to the Cannith essences?

I went through my bag of essences and found I had several "orphans". 4 Lesser Good, 2 lesser fire, etc...

I know it's not really a great big deal, as we'll have only 1 -4 of the 12 former types (12 - 48) but still it seems a shame to have to waste them.

Unfortunately there are no plans to add a mix turn in option. It wouldn't be an insignificant time/bloat to the system to catch those few remaining essences once.

I can't remember: can you vendor essences for plat? If not, when the update goes in could they be flagged for it? would make me feel better than just trashing them

Mind you, I could just put them on the AH for a pittance and let someone round out their exchange.

Put your single left over essences up on the AH, and buy single essences from other players who do so, for those of which you have 3+. Lets help each other clear out our bags!

Mind you, I could just put them on the AH for a pittance and let someone round out their exchange.

Everyone selling/trading off their odds will clear up the stragglers pretty quickly.

We're gamers. We care about the tiggles & gits of misc minutiae.

I would tend to agree that to me the fastest solution to this one time issue would be player trading...

• Guild/Friend Trade
• Trade Channel - "I need one x essence have z,y,t to trade"
• Trading with others also converting essences
• Auction House - Sell them in groups of 1,2,3 or 4
• Server Trade Forum - Make a post of what you have that is not 5 and let people meet up with you to even out stacks

The only other options I can see are...

• Hang on to them as mementos
• Toss them

This is what I will do. You get 200 lessers from breaking down 1 item. I am not going to worry about a maximum of 48 lessers I can't use.

And if anybody is emotionally disturbed by tossing 48 essence.....if you are on Cannith, PM me and I will send you 10 of the new essence to make you feel better!

Perhaps an exchange for 11 of the lesser types to be exchanged into 1 of the other types (any lesser essence to water). Only need to add the 1 to 1 for this and would only add 11 recipes to the mix, not a lot of bloat.
