Default Freezing on the loading screen. Error 205

So I had this problem last night, then it worked for a while today, and now it's doing it again. The game will load, I'll select a character, it'll go to the load screen, the loading bar will load all the way, then it freezes. When I try to get the game to respond I get the Error 205 message. I've unplugged all additional USB devices, reset my computer (as per tech support page), even done the "repair" option from the launcher. No idea why the hell it keeps doing it but it's freaking annoying considering I just spent $15 on a sub and an additional 10 on the starter pack. I'd like to actually play the game.

Try creating a shortcut to TurbineLauncher.exe if your current shortcut doesn't and see if that helps.

What version of Windows are you running?

Windows 10, and yeah I have a shortcut to the launcher. The launcher works fine. I'm able to log in, go to character creation, make characters, choose existing characters, etc. It just freezes when loading into the game itself after choosing a character. The loading bar will fill and then it stops responding. Occasionally it'll load into the game, but the game freezes and all I can hear is the background music and effects. However, it appears to be it only happens at certain times of the day, which is weird. It worked perfectly fine this morning, but around 11PM the last two days it does this for a good 6 hour stretch. I have no idea why. My best guess it's a server issue and those are peak times? I have no idea, it's weird.

When you can post a dxdiag (steps in my sig) but also I'd recommend putting in a tech support help request if you haven't yet (also linked in my sig)

Yep! Three days in a row! Game plays perfectly fine during the day, then it hits around 6PM my time and the game gets wanged. So I guess I just can't play the game at night? Awesome.

Also, all your "tech help links" in your sig lead to 404 errors.

I submitted a ticket. My response was asking for the dxdiag, which I sent. The follow up was asking me to check my connection by unhooking the modem from the router and doing a direct line and blah blah, which I didn't do because:
    A. The modem/router is on the other side of the apartment and I'm not dragging my PC over there to run a test I know won't help.
    B. As per the last half of part A, I know it isn't my connection. My connection is fine on my end. Every other game and program runs fine and has a great connection.
    C. I know they're just following the steps and doing their jobs, but jumping through pointless hoops is frustrating.

Given this happens at the same time every day (and the game plays just fine any other time) I'm pretty confident that it's a server-side issue. I guess 6PM- whenever my time are peak hours or something. This would be just a mild annoyance if I were free-to-play, but given I just invested $25 of my limited entertainment budget and had a huge jonesing to play (I'm preparing a game for a tabletop group right now as well), I'm pretty frustrated. It's a ten year old game. You'd think they'd have stable servers by now. I have a lot of fun during the window I can actually play, but I definitely won't be subbing/VIPing anymore.

Same, i was happily playing all day...logged off for dinner, went to log back on and the game will just not load....i can get the loading bar all the way to the end, even get in game to see a frozen image...but thats as far as it goes, game crashes right there every single time.

This is definitely a Turbine issue, from what ive read it goes back to around U18....still not fixed.

I just had an interesting issue....

Ive been loading the game over and over and over trying to get it to catch and load...no success, maybe 15-20 times.

The last time after i selected character and hit enter, the usual blue bar loading etc started, but i could hear a soft clicking sound in the headphones...the thing is the game loaded faster than i have ever seen it load.
I got into the game in record time and everything was sweet, except there was no sound what so ever, i alt tabbed to try and get sound into the game...i could get sound from movies, youtube etc outside of the game, but nothing inside.

I then closed out the game and re-started...back to the exact same issue....loads character selection screen no problem, hit enter...and thats as far as it goes...crash every single time in the exact same place.
