Game keeps freezing.

Hello. Just downloaded DDO last night, instantly VIPed because I was stoked to play (Cannith server), and what little I've gotten to play has been a blast. Unfortunately for the last two hours every time I try to play the game freezes on the loading screen just after character selection. I actually made it to the tavern once, but the game froze there and then I got DCed. Is there a server problem?

I restarted my PC and tried creating a character on a different server. Same thing.
