If you take the currently BtC crafted item, deconstruct it, then craft it under new system, does it become BtA? Assuming augments are unbound.

yes if you using bta augments. I tested this and an item that became btc due to the current cannith crafting became bta when I cleaned it and applied new cannith crafting shards. This is a big deal to me, but others seems less enthusiastic about it than I am.
