    Default Augment Slots

I may be wrong, as per usual, but since slots seem to be free of minimum level mularky in the new system, then green slotted items might become priceless commodities.

I mention this now, since I have been earning or buying as many as I could possibly need. I also have a load of double slotted items, but I am under the impression something bad is going to happen to these.

I'm asking have I been stupid on greens and misinformed on doubles? Or is anarchy about to strike the AHs?

Per NoWorries (somewhere - he has been everywhere lately) that existing slotting RGL will be just fine after the U32 update.

I personally have cleansed single, and double slotted RGL AND existing single and double slotted crafted loot on Lamannia and had zero issues.

Cordovan cleanses something (repeater??) with a red slot on his last livestream and it came out just fine. It came out ml:2 (IIRC) but as soon as he slapped a ml:1 shard on it, the item became ml:1. Of course slotting in an augment that is higher than 1 would change the items ml (but will not change the effects crafted on the item).

I have also cleansed a crafted item with a colorless and yellow slot (belt of str+6) with a slotted deathblock gem in it.... and (DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME - YMMV) the deathblock gem survived the ordeal.

Finally, if you slot in a btc augment gem - the item will become BtC, probably forever (even if you unslot and re-cleanse) - so caveat emptor. (This might not be working as intended, but haven't heard any official comment on it.)

SO if you are Khyber - send me a mail and lets trade for those double slotted RGL items! And yes, blue slotted accessories, and green slotted RGL are IMHO valuable.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Uurlock, that does help a lot and I am on Khyber, but you'll have to prize those items off my cold, dead, REAL body. (Location withheld)

Up to 25, I tend to run with generic stuff backed up with class specific armour and weapons, so red and blue are not my scene. I had a problem about collectables but that went when I realised that BtA meant I only needed one set of generic.

Greens still drop, Doubles already no longer drop in the new RGL, if you see a cheap one buy it!

With BTC augments in a BTA named item it remains BTA. You tested it with new cannith and it goes BTC? if so that's bad.

might be - but it remaining BtA when you slot in a BtC Augment is not wai - so if they fixed it they fixed it.

    Question:

If you take the currently BtC crafted item, deconstruct it, then craft it under new system, does it become BtA? Assuming augments are unbound.

"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"

Yes and I did this specifically with old btc cc gear with 2 augments, but only tested this with bta shards.
