Default Missing DAT Files for Lammania: Game Error 201

I did a fresh install of Lammania (for Update 32, new Cannith Crafting). When I run it, I get:

    Code:
Game Error [201] Can't open the data files. Check that they exist and that you have permission to write to them. The program will now exit. [201]
Looking in the program folder, and in the dndclient.log, I see that I'm missing most of the required *.DAT files. I've seen different advice in this forum:

    - Set turbinelauncher, dndclient, turbineclientlauncher, TurbineInvoker, and TurbineRegisterGDF as Adminstrator. [Done]
    - Copy files from the Backup folder. (There are no DAT files in that folder. Probably because this is a fresh install.)
    - Delete the DAT files and run the launcher again. (I tried that several times, which is why I deleted it all and did the fresh install.)
    - Download "DDO-Wrapper". (That wont' work with Lammania, will it?)
    - Copied the missing files from my regular installation (I got a new error: "Unable to decrypt and de-serialize the data downloaded from the server).

I deleted some of the files I had copied in. Trying now to patch it again.

While I'm waiting -- any ideas?

DDO-Wrapper will not work for Lamma Land since it's a totally different client, I downloaded Lamma Land the other day without issues so I am curious to know if you used the link below to get Lamma?

    http://content.turbine.com/sites/cli...ddopreview.exe

If you didn't then remove what you currently have and try the above link, before you do that you could try using the repair option in the launcher that may force the download you need.

I'm not sure it the link is exactly the same, but I did download that ddopreview.exe yesterday.

The repair option doesn't seem to work either. I'll try uninstalling and installing to a new folder

Windows 10. I don't think I've ever had this problem with the standard DDO install. However, I don't think I've tried running Lammania on Windows 10 either.

OK I am assuming that you installed the Lamma client to a Program Files directory, if so then this could be the issue. W10 really doesn't like anything messing with files that are currently there, instead install the game in to a different folder. I install all my games in to a folder called "Games" at the root of my C:\ drive (C:\Games\<insert game name>\) so try doing that and see if it helps.

That's where I put it when earlier I said I was "installing to a new folder". So I'm having the same issue both there and in the Program Files folder.

Don't worry, I also wrote to Turbine Customer Service. They said to delete the Turbine folders in %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore. (The only thing within that was the Lammania folder, and that's a good sign since I'm having no trouble with the standard installation!)

Waiting for the new download to finish. Thanks for your advice!
