Greetings!
Completing a manual comparison of shards that are currently available on the old and new system revealed the following:
- As a baseline:
-- Old: STR +1-+6 equals one shard as it converts to the new system of STR
-- Old: Does NOT include flexible shard slot count, only basic shard. New: Assumes that you can craft all shards at all bound levels. Some extra slot shards add additional slots.
-- Does not include anything not currently on Lamma, but is planned to be added: Clickys, non-scaling items.
-- Assumes that all bane shards will be able to be slotted in the off-hand, though they are currently listed as main hand only
128 like shards
32 shards have an average of 2.03 more slots than before (64.96 more slots)
41 shards have no change
55 shards have an average of 4.34 less slots than before (238.7 less slots)
The net effect thus far is that 174 potential slots have been lost, or an average of 1.5 less slot per each of these 128 effects.
This does not seem to be a win for Cannith Crafting, rather a huge disappointment for all the time, energy, and money invested in this system. I ask you to increase the available slots for shards to be crafted beyond the plan for it to be equivalent to random generated loot slotting.
Thanx for taking the time to read this,
