Curious.. Warforged mc ranger..or dwarf..

I am going to tr from a dwarf fighter..heroic..was going to do ranger..or ranger,sorc,fighter..maybe 12-6-2..really don't know..was thinking sorc for the repair spells or I could scroll it right?..or maybe dwarf pure ranger..melee focus with a dash of range for emergency..+1 tomes..VIP..no bf..all other iconics..thanks for the help..

Until Turbine fixes the bugs with Mithral Body, I wouldn't bother with a pure WF rgr. Unless you were planning to do something heavily MCed like a WF variant on NYB 2.0. But then you're missing the best part of BF namely Recon SLA.

For rangers it is. Rangers get awesome bonuses when wearing light armor from the deepwood stalker tree and from the tempest tree. Adamantine body counts as heavy and so they are ineligible for those bonuses. As well, evasion (which rangers get at level 9) doesn't work if you have anything heavier than light armor.

It isn't that adamantine body is bad, it's that it isn't that great for rangers.

Except (as the thread I linked indicates) at least some of those bonuses don't work with Mithral Body. Combined with the low MDB of MB and there's some incentive to doing a WF variant on a hvy armor rgr. That said, I think I'd rather do a WF variant on NYB 2.0 (presuming BF isn't an option natch), as there are more synergies between Addy Body + SD Gtr Defensive stance.

I myself have played a dwarf ranger and was using a long bow hitting crits for around 15k per arrow and with many shot it could get anywhere from 30k-45k per click. I dumped everything into dex and then put a few point into wis and then rest in con at lvl 1 and every 4 levels upgrade dex and go in the shiradi destiny.
