Default Silver Flame Pots, How do you use these?

The stat and move speed penalty have always made these a complete Turbine stick in the eye joke to me.

Tell me...when you are sitting there chugging away with these "gems" doesn't your survivability/DPS/DCs and everything else that relies on stats suffer to the point of debilitation?

Do you build AND gear your toon with the -10 stat penalty taken into consideration?

Or do you suck it up, gimp yourself by drinking them and just be completely OK with it?

I too consider them to be crappy crapperson ****, and a big middle finger to the playerbase (and I'm a fanboi). I never bother with them.

I have them as a last fall back on my barb. Are they annoying? Oh, yes. But for Danyi, it's that or dying. And they're (marginally) better than that.

-10 to stats and -9 to saves is a noticeable difference, especially considering you have a -50% to run speed pretty much planting you in place while fighting.

I don't build around losing those stats and saves. How can you? I have self healing on my barb, so it's not like I guzzle them during every encounter.

I suck it up because I refuse to twist Consecrated Ground and have an sp bar. It's a line crosser for me. Times have changed and we are long overdue for an improvement to SF pots.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

This. I don't use them very much at all. But if everything is going bad, you can guzzle them pretty fast and keep yourself alive.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

When the choice is between immediate death now or probable death in a few seconds (after your stats are gimped and you are severely slowed) then you use them, because there is a small chance you won't die with a few extra seconds.
