    Default Hirelings absolutely dumb!

I am not hurting Turbine's feelings here, or blasting at them for no reason but I am here to state the obvious. In my history with the game, I have found Hirelings to be stupid, dumb, suicidal and refusing to obey orders. This is in particular with the Healer Hirelings, as they don't do their job by healing the party (myself included), and they stand there getting hit by enemies which gets them killed because they don't bother to heal themselves! So this is why I don't use them anymore, because they're brain dead...literally.

I mean what's the purpose of creating Hirelings in the first place, if they're stupid? No offence intended Turbine, just being honest.

Hireling (and pet) AI is pretty terrible and they lack the oomph to participate properly in pretty any non-normal content. For newer players who don't prioritize self-healing, can't build up enough UMD for scrolls and don't have the plat to spend on potions, having a disposable aggro-fiend or healbot is a godsend.

That being said, hirelings are situationally useful for folks playing at higher levels and difficulties:

    - They can be soulstone carriers if you don't have your Jibbers blade
    - Park your healbot around the corner before a fight and save a bundle on healing potions, provided you can survive the individual battles
    - Need a lever-puller? Roll druid or wizard, take augment summoning and use your pet for heroic-level ability requirements (runes and levers, for example). Druid past lives make this even more ridiculous
    - If you're soloing EH Devil Assault (and some other dungeons, but this one is easiest), bring along a Sorc or Bard hire for the disco balls

Well with that being said, I have taken a vow never to use them ever again! And I quote "They should never have been in the game to begin with", so here's turbine can do (since I won't debate this further) and it's just a simple request which they don't have to consider since they had made the game back in 2006; that they take out hires from the game for good. And I mean seriously, a number of people don't want to use them because they're stupid. But if they're are to be kept in the game, I have no objections. That's all I have to say, nuff said.
