Is arbalester (rogue mechanic great crossbow proficiency enhancement) broken?

my great crossbows used to be awesome.

but just recently they seem to have become useless.

i just noticed that my great crossbows are now showing a penalty -4 to attack, which is puzzling coz i have the arbalester enhancement from the rogue mechanic tree.
but it no longer seems to be working. i seem to no longer have great crossbow proficiency despite having the arbalester enhancement.

update: how embarrassing, i logged out and back in again and i have proficiency again. sorry pls disregard post, i can't see how to delete post.
