Preloading the game at the Character Selection screen

Am I the only one who has to do this (start the game, get to character selection, then alt-tab to the DDO preloader) in order to get the game to load under 30 seconds?

My computer can run The Witcher 3, GTA 5 and Far Cry Primal in medium-high settings without issue. When I play DDO I have to use a third party program to preload game files to cancel that 50% crashing rate after trying to enter the world and shorten the load time by a factor of 3-4.

I also use defragmenting regularly.

I don't do that, but I do use the pre-loader built into the launcher. Click the down arrow in the upper right, and select options. Once the dialog comes up, click the checkbox that states "Pre-cache gamelogic" then the launcher will preload data before it starts the game.

I use the Preloader before I start the game and it's not enough, I have to use it just before I enter the world.
