Well I voted on day 1 for #2 but am very glad to see #4 leading by such a long distance as if it had been there on day 1 I would definitely have voted for it.

Sorry, but none of the above. I now regret not completing and submitting what I had started. I got a logo done and have a concept for the cover image consistent with this logo design, but have not done it yet.

The rest are all to "busy" and while I am sure work went into them they have a certain "My Space" feel to them.

It's down to 3 or 4 for me. #3 is very clean, but serious. #4 is busy, but entertaining and projects a sense that is more in keeping with the game, I feel.

So, I'm voting for #4.

I voted for # 3. It is simpler. Cleaner. Not as busy. The others are good too but they have too much going on and can be too busy/distracting.

Yes, original art; but feel free to use available resources such as logos, screenshots, whatever you find. The finalists here may have used screenshots in a couple of them, but they embellished them with text and other graphics to make them original. I apologize if there was any confusion.

Original art should make the bulk of what is required.
If I were to take say the Mona Lisa and add a hat and some writing, it would not classify as original art, that's basically what these screen shots did, they took something that already existed and just added their own twist. I even like one of them (the minimalist one), but I would not call it original art.
The other two submissions, though colorful, look more amateurish and dated, like looking at the graphics of say FreeCiv compared to Civilization. I'm sure the person that submitted them put a fair amount of work into them, but they look unfinished at best.

I'll vote for #5 too, much better than the other 4 even if it is heavily dependent on existing graphics, and not what I would call original artwork.

I'm sure that the people who created them were very sincere. However, none look very professional. I could not even begin to consider seeing any of them each and every time I went to the wiki.

The very best of them is, IMO, #4 and it looks like it belongs on the cover of a 1980's AD&D module. Being 35 years late to the party just does not seem appropriate.

Of course, it doesn't matter. Seems that it is already decided that one of the 4 will win and assault our eyes when we use the wiki. It might be great if the goal is to stop people using the wiki.

There is no option #5, as submissions were already closed and I'm not asking Cordovan to add another entry to the poll for a graphic that wasn't submitted before the deadline. I'm sorry, best I can do is suggest that you submit it when/if we do another contest for a different graphic.
