    Default Changes in Imp Crit?

Im back in the game since a month after a year and a half break. I remember swahbuckling with my bard and my Forester Hook within a crit range of 13-20, now its only 15-20. Has there been a change in the IC feat?
Wiki tells my IC adds +1, +2 or +3 on crit range, depending on wep type. Which is not exactly doubling the threat range of a wep... (Example my forester Hook ...)

yes there were changes in crit rate

however specifically swashbucklers should not be affected.
can you test on a mob?

yep, tested it on mob. Generally Forester had and has critrange 18-20 (so the list that Sev updated with the NEW range for forester is the old range for forester ...) with IC it was 15-20 and with SBing it was 13-20 heroic. On epic levels it was even better
I tested it and didnt crit on 14 only at 15.
Now its 18-20, +1 for Kama wep and +2 for SBing, so 15-20...
    Sad sad sad...

The wiki still lists the old version of Brush Hook, which was 19-20/x3. So it used to be: 17-20/x4 Swashbuckling -> 13-20/x4 IC:Slash. The new version is 18-20/x3, which becomes 17-20/x3 IC:Slash -> 13-20/x4 Swashbuckling. So you should wind up with the same crit spec, but the way the bonuses stack is different.

Are you mousing over the weapon or looking at the bottom of the Inventory screen? Usually you have to look at both.

This feat adds 1, 2, or 3 to critical threat range based on the weapon type's unmodified threat range.
+3 for falchion, great crossbow, kukri, rapier, and scimitar.
+2 for bastard sword, dagger, greatsword, heavy crossbow, khopesh, light crossbow, long sword, repeating heavy crossbow, repeating light crossbow, short sword, and throwing dagger.
    +1 to all other weapons.

Improved Critical does not stack with the Keen or Impact weapon enchantments.

They changed improved critical which benefitted things like Falchion and screwed other weapons... its the way of the new world..
Weapons that get screwed over.. Picks, Hammers, Maces ,Sickles ,axes , greatclub, maul, Morningstar, darts...
Quarterstaffs got screwed over too, but they adjusted certain named items with larger than normal crit range so it gave the illusion that Qstaffs were fine.. so as long as you have certain named Qstaffs you will be kind of ok... kind of....

There is weapon favoritism going on, instead of equalizing damage to let players play the weapon they want, it pigeon holes certain weapons to be the masters of DPS, effectively turning many weapons into useless choices..

becoming a swashbuckler kind of works around some of the problems for light finessable weapons, but only if you build specifically for this niche..
overall the game doesn't let players play the weapons they want in the builds they want without punishing them.. like dual wielding light maces or hand axes.. when other weapons blow them away for damage profiles.

Many weapons have fallen into the category of things that just eventually got removed from thegame like padded armor, banded mail, splintmail .. worthless and pointless....
