    Default audio issues

    A few days ago (3-4) is when I first noticed this audio problem. I had been raiding with a new guild on a regular basis for a couple weeks. This time, I joined the party and the usually talkative group was very quiet. Others noticed it as well. The next day, I noticed some some people were talking but others weren't. Today, in a party 3 of us were hearing each other fine but 5 others couldn't hear us or see ther chats. We finally figured out that the 3 of us needed to relog, which fixed the problem. Seems like jumping from one raid to another also causes a problem. I ran a raid with one group and after it was completed I dropped party and joined another raid. I couldn't hear the new party members but strangely enough, I was still hearing the conversations from the previous party. Anyone else notice this? It must be going on with the other servers too.

    I experienced the same thing today. I'm not sure if no one spoke while I was in party or not but I did not hear anything. After completing our run I dropped group and heard them conversing shortly after.

    I hear ya.....literally, I heard them....not just residual audio but audio as if I was still in the 1st party. It appears to be getting worse. I have noticed that it seems to happen when there are multiple raids (could be quests as well) planned. First raid everything is fine but after the 1st raid is complete, some people stay (for the next raid) and some people drop or perhaps swap to an alt. Now there are spots in the party open and more players join. It's at this point that I think the bug rears its ugly head. Some people are in one chat (those that stayed), both audio chat and game chat and some are now in a second chat instance. It compounds as the number of raids run and the number of people that join/leave making everyone appearing to be silent. Typing in the party chat window does no good since only some MAY see it and most won't even realize you are talking/typing. The only way of communicating with those in different chat instances is a /tell to those in other instance.

    My advice is to follow these steps to avoid the audio bug;
    1) leader posts LFM
    2) people join and the raid/quest is run
    3) everyone drops group
    4) new LFM posted
    5) rinse and repeat above steps when planning multiple raids

    OR wait until Turbine fixes the bug

    It is the latest bug that has been screwing with players.

    players are being grouped in different chats within the same party.

    I have noticed if I am in a group finish a quest, some leave an new ones join, the new ones will sometimes start into the new party chat room while the original group are in the first chat group.
    Party voice and type chat only reaches those within the same group, personal tells still work.

    does cause issues where teamwork or communication is helpful..

    My workaround so far.. completely reform group with different leader ( manually shift star then drop before forming new group from scratch).
