shard of inner focus

so i accidentally made a shard of inner focus, do not ask why, just did. so i look at the description, and it says it is used for a +1 competence bonus to concentration. ok, so i go to craft a ring with it, and the concentration needs a concentration +1 shard??? ***?? i looked all over. no where is there a concentration bonus that uses the inner focus shard! matter of fact, after looking around, i could not even find anything that uses this inner focus shard. what gives?

make sure you're at the correct crafting machine.
one is for unbound, the other for bound gear
try dragging the shard into the device and it should tell you a more useful error message (maybe)

yeah, i just noticed i can not craft the exact same things in "bound" and "unbound". seems unbound cost more supplies, is harder to do, and a slightly limited choice.
