    Default Drow Hunter Armor

I am looking for the drow hunter armor, if there is anyone that has it, I will buy it, trade, or if anyone can give any information as to where I can find it, that would help too. Please and thank you.

Drow Hunter armor drops from optional in Redwillow ruins quest.

Talk to Redwillow then head straight for the Drow opt. If you go in on a L20+ you should be able to fast runs to this chest killing en masse or invising past mobs. Repeat till you pull it - pop a loot gem if you have one to enhance your luck.

Unless it's changed recently, loot gems don't affect your chances of pulling named loot; only the difficulty does.

OP: if you're really serious about farming this (or any other F2P quest) and your PC is beefy enough to handle multiple logins: make 5 F2P alt accounts, park 5 alts at the quest entrance, zerg to the chest with your main, then when the way is clear, send your alts to the chest - presto, six chances per run instead of only one. Although since Redwillow is a lvl 6 quest, your alts needs to be lvl 3 or higher to enter, so it's not quite that simple...

If you've unlocked the first Veteran Status at 1000 total favor, then you can make new characters at level 4. And if you're just going to be using them as chest openers, you should be able to take them in, fresh off the boat.

That won't work. You can't multi-box with toons from the same account. You have to have separate accounts.

In this case, either you play your F2P alt account enough to level a character to 3; or you play it enough to earn 1,000 Favor so you can make new lvl 4 alts. Either way, it's a non-trivial investment of time if your goal is simply "get a F2P alt to min lvl for Quest X so I can have extra chances at Loot Drop Y." Especially if you're willing to do it five times.

Alternatively you can just buy the low level light leather armors from the npc-shops (marketplace, house k or eveningstar) and try them on.
Last time I did this you could find remarkably similar armors that way.

To bad there isn't a way to inspect the looks on the auction house or the in game npc-vendors.

This has been asked for a ton of times, and gets swept under the rug every time for some reason...like adding a 'preview' button would be so hard...lol

So they say but I don't buy it. When I have a loot gem going I get way too many Ring of Dun Robars, Drow Weapons, GH rare items, tc vs when I don't.

Yeah... Um... Oops. I did completely forget about the whole "having to be on different accounts" thing. I blame the fact that I had not yet had my coffee.

Pay no mind to the rambling, not-yet-caffeinated fool.

    Default Thanks for the help

Thanks everyone for all the tips. Unfortunately I don't have any loot gems on me, so I might just have to stock up on astral shards and use them at the chest. Hopefully that will work.

    Default Slight Error

Good news, I finally found the drow hunter armor. Unfortunately, it was not the armor I was looking for. The armor I'm looking for is fairly similar to the drow hunter armor, but I don't know the name of it however. If anyone knows what armor this is, please let me know and where to find it. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7...7/screenshots/

That's just the armor from the character creation screen?
The only ones I recall looking similar are the Vulkoorim Fighting Leathers and the Kobold Admiral's Uniform.
Maybe random gen armor can look like that too?
Thelanis - Ethforged - Etherar - Fjirty --- Mitis Mors
    Ghallanda - Ethrayne - Ethryne --- Omnipresence

    I can help with that.

The closest named armor could be the one you have been already told, look at it:

But the real armor you are looking for is a random skin that ONLY drops in BTA leather armors. You can get these from end rewards in heroic arcs and chains (eg. Delera, Sentinels, Tangleroot, Catacombs, etc).

Good luck, I hope you can get one soon (:
